Just a thought I had after seeing SWATH for the second time. When Snow wakes after Eric’s kiss lifts the spell, she has tears running down her cheeks. I think some of them were hers, but the first time I saw it I assumed all of them were. The second time, however, I realized the huntsman was crying as he spoke to Snow. His face was wet with his own tears when he bent over her lifeless form to kiss her goodbye. The tears on her face, most of them were Eric’s. And that is so powerful to me. Such beautiful imagery. He loved her, and he was so desperately hurt that she was gone, that he hadn’t been able to save the second and only other woman he had ever truly loved. So, so very beautiful.
